System Administrator
Boca Raton, FL


The System Administrator is a member of the Analytics & Technology team. The successful candidate will have technology systems expertise and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. The role will involve working across all departments to understand their business needs and identify potential solutions. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and Azure platform is key to the role. The core responsibility of this position is to support the use of technology by all employees at the firm while providing a best-in-class service experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technology support to include service desk, telephone requests, walk-in support requests, and office set up
  • Perform configuration management, testing and troubleshooting of all systems
  • Install and maintain the current software product baseline
  • Provide the necessary expertise to ensure all systems and supporting networks are maintained in an operational state
  • Perform system backups and restoration of systems as required
  • Perform system administration on desktop computers, servers, and network devices through installation and upgrade of hardware, operating systems, applications, and patches, participate in installing and maintaining systems, monitor and analyze system logs, and perform troubleshooting
  • Coordinate exercises and training events with onsite and remote users
  • Assist with managing property inventory, including software and hardware purchases, licenses and author documents
  • Perform system administration activities to meet or maintain accreditation requirements, as required, meet system requirements for availability and functionality, analyze network and system activity and performance to identify potential network issues or inefficiencies, and develop and implement corrective actions
  • Contribute to planning, engineering, implementing, and supporting a broad base of infrastructure monitoring, data aggregation, and performance management solutions globally.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects that are time sensitive and dependencies for other project completions
  • Provide management with direction and recommendations based on established policy and business requirements; collaborate with peer groups to identify scope and implementation approach to a project
  • Actively participate in the day-to-day technical tasks as well as third level and on-call support
  • Communicate and promote departmental strategies
  • Represent the Firm with integrity and model Firm values and professional standards


  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology field
  • 3-5 years professional experience in technology systems administration
  • High client service orientation
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016)
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS
  • Experience with the administration of the Microsoft 365 Platform (Desktop suite, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft Azure platform
  • Familiarity with video conferencing (Zoom experience preferred)
  • Expert technical knowledge of computer hardware setup, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Well-organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; able to prioritize effectively (PMP or project management experience preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems; strong attention to detail
