Prior to joining Polen Capital, Ms. Avila worked for several years for Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, FL. as a Senior Specialist to the Deputy Superintendent. Ms. Avila lived in Texas a few years where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for Jones & Carter, Inc. an engineering firm. The majority of Ms. Avila’s career was spent working for Johnson Associates Architects, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant in Miami, FL.
