Important information to help you identify and avoid fraudulent activity that may impersonate Polen Capital or its employees.

Active fraud alert

We are aware of fraudulent impersonations of Polen Capital employees on WhatsApp and other messaging platforms. Polen Capital will never solicit investments via WhatsApp, social media direct messages, or unsolicited emails.

What to watch for

Unsolicited contact
Messages claiming to be from Polen Capital employees via WhatsApp, Telegram, or personal email addresses.
Investment solicitations
Requests to invest money, transfer funds, or share personal financial information through unofficial channels.
Impersonation
Use of Polen Capital's name, logo, or employee names in unofficial communications or fake websites.
Pressure tactics
Urgency to act quickly, promises of guaranteed returns, or requests for cryptocurrency payments.

How to verify legitimate communications

  • All official Polen Capital emails come from @polencapital.com addresses
  • Polen Capital will never ask you to send money via wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or gift cards through unsolicited messages

How to report suspected fraud

If you have been contacted by someone claiming to represent Polen Capital and suspect it may be fraudulent, please take the following steps:

  1. Do not respond to the suspicious communication or share any personal or financial information
  2. Retain any evidence of the communication (screenshots, email headers, etc.)
  3. Contact Polen Capital directly at compliance@polencapital.com
  4. Report the incident to your local law enforcement and relevant regulatory authorities
