  • Special Interests: Enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, and listening to vintage reggae music.

Mr. Ward joined Polen Capital in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ward was Executive Vice President for the Americas at Cipher, a global cybersecurity firm based in Miami, where he oversaw finance, marketing, sales, and engineering functions. Mr. Ward has also held diverse positions at McKinsey & Company, Walt Disney Company, Morgan Stanley, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, in addition to his service as a Senior Policy Advisor in the United States Senate. Mr. Ward received his B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an M.P.A. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Mr. Ward is also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
