Education: B.A. in Business Administration & Communication from Trinity University in San Antonio and M.B.A. (honors and distinction) from Columbia Business School
Primary Responsibility: As Co-Portfolio Manager of the firm’s Global Growth Portfolio, Jeff is responsible for decision-making, including working closely with the investment team to maintain Polen’s investment philosophy while investing around the world. He also works as an analyst, identifying and researching investments for the strategy.
Special Interests: Involvement with the Pat Tillman Foundation, assisting transitioning veterans, reading and spending time with his wife, daughter, and son.
Biography: Mr. Mueller joined Polen Capital in 2013. Prior to joining Polen Capital, Mr. Mueller spent 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, during which he logged over 400 hours flying combat missions in F/A-18s. He ended his tour teaching at MAWTS-1, the Marine Corps version of Top Gun. Mr. Mueller received his B.A. in Communications and Business Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio where he was Captain of the Men's Tennis Team, an All American and NCAA Champion. He is a Tillman Scholar and an ambassador for the Travis Manion Foundation. He earned his MBA from Columbia Business School where he graduated from the Value Investing Program with Honors and Distinction. He also is an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School.
